Dr. Buddy Deshler is a well-known trumpet artist and advocate for the arts. He is celebrated for his performances with ensembles like the Dallas Brass, King's Brass, and Mannheim Steamroller. He co-founded the Brass Institutes of America, offering educational opportunities for young musicians. Dr. Deshler holds degrees from the Frost School of Music, Peabody Institute, and Arizona State University. He teaches the Furman Trumpet Studio at Furman University and is an endorsing artist for XO Brass, Denis Wick, and Smith Watkins.
